DA42-VI

The Diamond DA42-VI is a four-seat twin-engine composite aircraft powered by two Austro Engine AE330 turbo-diesel engines of 180 hp each, running on Jet-A fuel. It offers excellent fuel efficiency and a 2,000-hour TBO, making it economical to operate compared to avgas twins. The DA42-VI is widely used for multi-engine training and as a personal travel aircraft, featuring the Garmin G1000 NXi avionics suite and optional de-ice equipment for known-ice certification.
