About the Phenom 300E
The Embraer Phenom 300E is the best-selling light jet in the world, a position it has held for more than a decade. That sales record is no accident: it has become the default airframe for fractional and charter fleets as well as private owners, thanks to a combination of cabin comfort, performance and operating economics that competitors have struggled to match.
It cruises at around 464 knots — fast for the category — with roughly 2,010 nautical miles of range and certification to 45,000 feet, and it is approved for single-pilot operation. The standout feature is the cabin: an oval cross-section that is taller and wider than direct rivals, with a flat floor, a genuine airstair door and a large baggage hold. The Prodigy Touch flight deck, built on Garmin G3000, brings modern touchscreen automation that keeps single-pilot workload manageable.
For a new buyer or charter operator prioritising passenger experience, resale demand and proven fleet economics, the Phenom 300E is the logical choice in the light-jet class. Its main competitor is the Cessna Citation CJ4; operators already invested in the Citation ecosystem may favour that aircraft for continuity, but on cabin and resale the Phenom typically wins the comparison. As with any jet, confirm that the closest authorised service centre and parts supply support your home base — fleet size gives the Phenom a large global parts pool, which is a real operational advantage.
