The Piper Seminole (PA-44) is a four-seat, low-wing twin-engine trainer powered by two counter-rotating Lycoming O-360-E1AD engines of 180 hp each, making it the most widely used multi-engine trainer aircraft in the world. Its counter-rotating propellers eliminate critical engine concerns, simplifying multi-engine training. The Seminole is equipped with the Garmin G1000 NXi avionics suite in current production and is the standard platform for obtaining multi-engine ratings at flight academies globally.
