About the H145
The Airbus H145 — evolved from the EC145 and BK117 lineage — is a light-twin helicopter that punches above its class, and a mainstay of emergency medical services, offshore, search-and-rescue and law-enforcement fleets worldwide. The latest versions introduced a bearingless five-blade main rotor that improves ride quality, useful load and serviceability, retaining the quiet, safe fenestron tail rotor.
Powered by two Safran Arriel 2E engines with full-authority digital control and the Helionix avionics suite, it seats up to around ten in a large, flat-floor cabin with wide rear clamshell and sliding doors for stretcher and equipment access. Its blend of cabin volume, hot-and-high performance and twin-engine safety makes it one of the most capable multi-mission light twins available.
The H145 suits operators who need genuine cabin space, payload and all-weather capability in a light-twin package — HEMS, SAR, offshore and parapublic work. Buyers wanting a new-generation medium twin step up to the H160; for demanding multi-mission light-twin roles the H145 is a segment leader.
