Overview

About the 407GXi

The Bell 407GXi is the latest evolution of one of the most popular single-engine helicopters in civil aviation, tracing its lineage to the Bell 206 JetRanger and LongRanger. Its four-blade, soft-in-plane main rotor gives a smooth ride and responsive handling, and the type has earned a strong reputation across corporate transport, emergency medical services, law enforcement, utility and tour flying.

Powered by a Rolls-Royce M250 turbine with a dual-channel FADEC and flown behind a Garmin G1000H NXi glass flight deck, it seats up to six or seven and balances performance, cabin space and operating economics in a way that has kept it a fleet favourite for decades. A vast global support and parts network underpins its high dispatch reliability.

The Bell 407GXi suits operators who want a proven, versatile single-engine turbine for mixed corporate, EMS and utility roles at sensible running cost. Those requiring twin-engine redundancy for over-water or urban night operations move to a Bell 429; for the single-turbine mission the 407 remains a benchmark.
